Covid vaccine for placebo recipients

Apparently lots of people who participated in the Covid vaccine trials who think they received the placebo shot and not the vaccine are requesting to be “unblinded”. They want to know if they have gotten the vaccine or not for their own health reasons and feel like they should be at the front of the line since they put themselves on the line for helping humanity in general. Is it right that they should get it first? Should they wait their turn? Or should they be ineligible to get it at all so they can continue to be used as the control group in the study they signed up for voluntarily?
