Older sister, younger brother?

Does anyone have this dynamic in their family? It’s not at all what I pictured and I want them to always be close and best friends. Is this even possible? 😭

I’m the older sister and have a younger brother (3 years younger) and we are the best of friends. We didn’t always get along growing up but we have always been close no matter what.

My hubby is the youngest of 3 with 2 older sisters and we get together with them all the time! They’re all close!

I'm the oldest of 3 and we were girl-boy-girl, with three years between each. My brother and I got along great and were always playing together. My brother and sister didn't get along and were always fighting. Being 6 years older than my sister it was easier for me to put on the big sister hat and play nice with her. 
Long story short I think personality matters more than gender 🙂. My brother and I got along because we were into the same things. My sister's personality was really different from us so it was harder for her.

My little brother is 5 years younger and we aren’t like best friends but we do text almost every day. My daughter is 8 years old and my son is 3 and they are seriously constantly doing something together and never apart so I think it just depends.

I am not best friends with my younger brother, hee is two years younger than me. We were when we were little but once we hit ten and twelve we did not like each other and still kinda don't get along but better than when we were when we were teenagers. It got better!

Yep I have an older sister and a younger brother and I’m in fact much closer to my younger brother who is actually 4 years younger than me! I love having a younger brother ☺️

I have a younger brother who is 4 1/2 years younger than me. Looking at it from the outside, it wouldn’t make sense for us to be close. But we are. He is one of my bestfriends. Although we are in different stages of life, we are still close. We text throughout the week. We call each other once a week to keep in touch since we don’t live in the same city anymore. He is also close to my husband & calls him if he needs brotherly advice. He loves my daughter & is the sweetest uncle to her. 
We weren’t always this close though. When we were kids, we fought a lot. It wasn’t until I was in high school on the brink of going to college when we got closer. 
We both reminisce all the memories & good times of our childhood.

My brother is 3 years younger then me. We dont talk constantly but he is amazing. We haven't always seen eye to eye but we love each other so much and go out of our way to help each other. We have 3 sisters older then me and dont have any contact with them. Him and I were always the closest out of all the siblings. At the end of the day it just depends on how your kids are but I think it worked out pretty amazing for me
