Baby Rash??

Question

Anyone have any clue what rash this could be? I have to call the doctor but they can't get me in right away Because of the holiday. It's not a heat rash I know that much because it's been there for a few days and some days it looks better than others. I've been applying coconut oil on it for 2 days now to help mosturize it. It doesn't seem like it itches or bothers him at all but I hate seeing his face like that!! Makes me worry. Does anyone know what caused this or what type of rash this is? I'm a first time mom. By the way, it's ONLY on his face, head, ears & neck!! No where else!!

It's baby acne. I took my dd into the Dr for the same thing because she only had it on her face and neck and in her hair and it freaked me and my mum out and we both thought she was having an allergic reaction to something. So I took her to the Dr and my Dr told me it was baby acne and in my dd case she also has cradle cap. So I use this brand of body and hair wash called aleva, it has helped a whole ton! It has olive oil, oatmeal, aloe, lavender,  orange peel, witch hazel, shea butter and tea tree oil. It moisturizes and cleans nicely. Her face isn't so red and swollen looking, most of the acne is gone, like the white heads, but the marks are still there as they go away slowly, and it's also helping her cradle cap which it was designed to treat it. I'm also using a cream by the same brand called calendula or something and it's nice too. If you don't have that brand and want a quick fast remedy try pure witch hazel. It doesn't burn or hurt, I used a cotton pad and soaked it and then wiped it all over my dd face and neck and shoulders and in her hair and it helped a lot and then I got this shampoo body stuff and it's helping a ton too. I don't want to go over board on it though so I'm only bathing her every other day till its cleared up, and days in between I just use a face cloth with warm water to give her face a gentle wipe down.

First of all, might I say. What a cutie 😍 secondly , definitely looks like baby acne. I would have him looked at as soon as you can, just in case it's something more serious.

My baby had this but not as extreme but it was from too much yeast they just gave me a cream and it went away :)'

Your close up picture looks like my son's baby acne. He only had it on his cheeks, but it took a few weeks to clear up. It was much worse than I expected it to be. I want to say it was gone by 6 weeks. We washed with plain water, and use unscented baby wash.

My daughter had the same thing and they said it was baby acne but as soon as I switched to nutramigen formula it started clearing up. They also said she has a milk protein allergy.

My baby has the same, midwifes and doctor says its milk spots- should clear on its own in a couple of weeks. No lotions or potions!

My lo broke out with something similar from laying on my chest too much. The oils from my chest caused him to break out. Once I put a blanket or something  n between us for a few days it cleared up.

I took my daughter to the doctor with the same type of rash. He told me it was baby acne. I disagreed. I changed her to soy formula and it went away. I discovered she had a mild milk allergy and my doctor didn't think it was. She hasn't had a rash in 3 months.

My son had this its infant rash no big deal and was told not to put anything on it and went away on its own
