Eplilator ingrown hairs 😠

So I recently started using an epilator, today when I was using it I realised a big portion of my leg hair wasn’t coming out from the epilator. THEY ARE ALL INGROWN!! I mean BIG PORTION like the whole front of both my legs! 😰😰😰

I don’t know what to do?! 😣😣 How do I get rid of the ingrown hairs without having to lift each individual hair out of my skin with tweezers because they would take hours! 😓

Also is there a way I can stop the ingrown hairs when using my epilator or should I stop using it? 😐😐
