Menstrual cup?

Question

I'm very interested but very terrified of the Menstrual Cup. I have a few questions.
How do you use it?
Can you use it in the bath/shower?
Can you sleep with it on?
Is it uncomfortable?
Does it come in different sizes?
I would search it myself but family computer and annoying family -.-

I've just started using one! I've only used it a couple of times, there's so many different makes. Each have different methods of sterilisation and then there's the cleaning between taking it in and out. I can still feel the stem on mine when you're not meant to if it is inserted properly (you can but the stem off). There's different sizes depending on whether you've had kids or not and your personal shape, size and flow. I've got a small one and it's meant to last all day but it didn't for me because heavy flow. I leaked out a little but that's probably just me. They're actually pretty great and I don't know why I didn't try it sooner! Sorry for the stupidly long comment!

It's a silicone cup that sits pretty low in your vagina and collects your menstrual blood. It doesn't hurt, you can wear them in the bath or shower. I find it really easy and convenient to empty and clean it in the shower. They come in lots of different sizes, depending on the brand. Precious star pads has a great YouTube channel explaining all about them and comparisons and recommendations :) I'd definitely recommend checking out her videos!

Glad you're interested in trying a menstrual cup! I've used one for a few months now and I love it, it makes my period less stressful. First off, they do come in different sizes. The normal sizing is if you have given birth or not. I use a LilyCup and it comes in either size A or size B, I have a size A since I haven't given birth. The insertion and removal process is a bit tricky at first but once you get used to it (and learn to do it correctly!) it's completely fine.
