Do you plan to get the COVID vaccine while pregnant?

If it is available to you, do you intend to get the vaccine? Especially interested in healthcare workers responses as they may have the option now in early pregnancy. No rude/disrespectful comments, please.

I am in healthcare field... my PCP said she doesn’t recommend me get it while pregnant. If anything changes i will!

I want them to give me the vaccine as soon as I deliver that baby 😅

I’m not planning on it. But with my last pregnancy I wasn’t planning on getting s flu shot either. My midwife talked me into it pretty easily by telling me how they really want you to get it because if you do get the flu it’s bad for the baby to be in a hot tub if you get a fever from being sick. I would think getting covid would be even worse especially since your baby needs oxygen and covid can make it hard to get enough. Pregnant people get more sick than everyone else does so you would think it would be better to get it. But, it hasn’t been tested on pregnant moms. So I’ll go off of what my midwife suggests. It’s not really an option right now anyway because if availability. I’m wondering if the advise will change part way through this pregnancy. I’m all for getting it if my midwife recommends it.

I plan to talk to my OB/GYN about it at the first appointment, but I am leaning towards yes...
