I started generic Yaz at the beginning of October. It’s not being used as birth control, it’s to treat my PMDD, and it has been amazing for my PMDD like I am such a better partner and parent now, I love it for that. But I’ve been bleeding 3 weeks of each pack so far. It’s mostly just spotting but enough that I have to wear a liner, and randomly it’ll be a more period-like flow. I had a follow-up last week and the doctor said to stop taking the placebos and that should stop the bleeding (the 3 weeks of bleeding starts a week after the placebos). She said to wait 3 more packs to see if it’ll stop.

Has anybody else experienced this? Did the bleeding eventually stop? I am so tired of the bleeding but I really don’t want to stop the pill and go back to feeling how I felt before.
