Thoughts on Nexplanon

I’m currently on the pill, it would be nice to not have to worry about making sure I have the pack at all times and that I take it at the same time every day.

I’m thinking about getting the implant in my arm (Nexplanon). I’ve researched the pros and cons. The only bad side I’ve found is that the removal process is terrible sometimes. But I have so many questions that I can’t find the true answers to on the internet.

Does insurance cover the implant ?

Does it hurt?

How does it effect your body?

I’m looking for personal experiences to help me make up my mind on if I want to try it or not.
