Question

We have an Even flo Triumph Convertible car seat & it seems to be way too big for our car. We really love the seat, but it takes up so much space. We’ve looked into getting a bigger car but until then we need something that is going to fit. We have an 08 Jeep Compass. And with her still rear facing, whichever seat she is behind, the person is basically on the dash. Her dad and I are tall so it makes it hard to drive. Any recommendations on car seats?

I had the evenflo triumph for my nephew. That seat is huge but i liked it. I would recommend the graco slim fit or extend to fit

I feel like that was our issue with our Nuna rava in our Toyota Highlander as well. Even though it’s a big car, I’m tall so I always felt like I had to move my seat forward so much when my son was rear facing. It was doable, but it was definitely a relief when we were allowed to put him forward facing. My parents have a small Subaru Outback and they use a Graco Extend2fit for the grandkids and the fit seems okay. The car seat itself is wonderful.

Remember that then it's time to forward face (please rear face as long as absolutely possible!) You need minimum 55cm from the kid to the seat in the front seat - so it typically trakes just as much if not more space forward facing! 
Point is I would look for a smaller seat, it get a different car sooner than later.
