Naturally Inducing Labor ? Did you do it and if what weeks ?

I'm interested to see if any other women have naturally induced labor, how and when . Was baby ok ?

Personally I’ve never done it. I always want baby to come on their time. Whatever you do, DO NOT, take castor oil.

The day I hit 39 weeks I got off work that morning and used my manual breast pump to pump a little. That was around 11am. My water broke at 12pm😂could be unrelated. But. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My OB preferred the 39th week. She says, anytime after that, baby could expel the meconium and possibly swallow it causing respiratory issues as well since they're floating in the amniotic fluid. With babies practicing their breathing motions is when that fluid can be "inhaled" and end up in the lungs.

Baby isn't full term before 39weeks! So don't even think if trying anything earlier unless medically necessary.
