So I'm on paroxetine 20 mg for depression and anxiety. I'm 22, i only visit the doctor like 4 times a year. Unfortunately, i haven't been to the doctor in a year because i don't have insurance. My work does not offer insurance, so i kind of avoid the doctor at all costs because it costs 95 dollars a visit. I'm basically out of my medication and going through withdrawal. Brain shocks, depression, bouts of crying, etc. I cannot stand the withdrawal effects. I tried to get my prescription refilled and my doctor basically said i need to make an appointment since it's been a year or he can't refill them. So the problem is i got laid off work a week or two ago because of covid and I'm barely making it till my next pay check. I get paid bi-weekly. I gave up on un employment because i figured it was pointless i went back to work like a week later. So I'm wondering can a doctor bill me later? Can they refuse me a visit if i can't pay money upfront?
