No hate please

A little information: I lost my job back in October and I just finished shopping for my fiancé for Christmas spent 200$ ish .. he has spent the last four months rebuilding his truck that we agreed about him rebuilding and that it would take all of our extra money.

I need a new laptop for school which is an online college and I would like a laptop they can play in my steam games because currently I have a 2011 HP laptop..

Bless his heart I know he wants to save money believe me I do too but I’m OK with having to spend $500 on a laptop that is new and is the only thing I’m asking for that will last me years. But I’m not the kind of person who just throws around $500 like it’s nothing and I haven’t had to work for anything.

I know he keeps sending me the cheapest computers that he can find and it honestly irritates me that he doesn’t want to spend more than $200 on a laptop which isn’t realistic and I don’t know if I’m just being entitled or maybe I’m expecting too much like I just feel like he’s not listening..
