Cramping

Has anyone who has had a baby already ever experienced period like cramps around 35 weeks? I keep reading that it can be a sign of preterm labor. I also have been feeling some pressure and little bit of cramping in my vagina but nothing intense. Is this normal for a ftm? Or can it be a sign that baby is coming early? I’ll obviously call my doctor if it gets worse but I’m just curious and interested to hear other people’s experiences! Thank you in advance :)
