Why don’t you like your sister in law?

List the reasons why you don’t like your sister in law. 
I honestly don’t understand why my sister in law doesn’t like me and I want to know why. I want to do my best and apologize if needed. Maybe this will give me clarity. We haven’t had a real fight or anything so there really isn’t justification for me to ask her. Thanks in advanced.

she might just not have a compatible personality with yours. everyone has various reasons why they might not like a particular person. not everyone gets along with each other. as long as you two are on polite terms it's alright, i would only make it a big deal if she was being rude about not liking you.

Unfortunately my sister in law is really toxic and manipulative. She uses people and doesn’t care who she steps on to get what she wants. I wish she and I could have a different relationship but what’s best for my husband and I is to not speak to her or his dad. It’s sad but it is what it &is, eventually you have to put your needs first and that’s what we did.

She’s friends with my husbands ex wife so I don’t trust her, I know where her loyalty lies and would never be able to have a true friendship with her or confide in her so I keep things cordial but surface level.

It’s not that I don’t like my sister in law, but she took her anger out on me for being pregnant after she had a miscarriage. I know miscarriages are awful and I get that. I was half way thru my pregnancy when she stopped talking to me and my brother stopped talking to me shortly after that. They wouldn’t pick up the phone or anything when my son was born and didn’t talk to me for about 4 months. My brother finally called to tell me they just found out their expecting and acted like they didn’t just ignore me for 7 months. 
I was extremely hurt, but it’s been almost 3 years so I just let it go.

My SIL hates me because noone will ever be good enough for her brother. That's her prerogative 100% and none of my business how she feels about me BUT when she constantly rams her opinions about me down everyone's throat and has her yearly spit at me, that's shit I won't stand for. I've just blocked her because I won't engage with a bully.

I hate my sis in law.. because she mental abused my mum.. told my mum that my nephew had cancer and he was going to have an operation.. feeding into her fears.. she fought cancer.. we come to find that.. he didn't have cancer he was having his tonsils out.. she made lies about my mum.. so yea I have my reasons.

My sisters-in-law have never introduced themselves to me, so I don't know them at all. My impression, based on their behaviour and treatment of their brother, their dad, my stepchildren, etc, as well as the stated opinions of every extended family member I've met, is that they are not nice people. They're both a good deal older than me (22 years and 16 years) and very petty. The younger one used to regularly turn our wedding picture to face the wall at her dad's house, which is just stupid and immature. I'm not sad that I don't know them. There is so much more stupidity that's not even worth recounting. I expect better from people in their 50s and 60s, but if they want to be vile, they can do it far away from me and I won't be sorry about it.

Mines ok. She's a former drug addict and kind of trashy 🤷☺️
But she's nice enough & I'm nice enough. I think it's important to us both to stay cordial.
