Sooo I went to my appointment this morning 12/21 at 10:30 and my bp was once again a little high. 142/90 or somewhere along those lines. My dr has been keeping an eye out on it since it’s been so iffy! Sent me to L&D for the 2nd time in 12 hours. Last night they had sent me back home bc they said my BP was fine 🙄 so today they decided to admit me to induce me instead of just monitoring me for 24 hours. I had some lunch waited around had a couple more high BP readings and thn my doctor showed up. They got my cervix checked and apparently I was not dilated AT ALL! 😭😭😕 I hate getting checked it is the worst feeling to me I legit haven’t had any sex in months so I’m just so tense LOL ANYWAYS since I wasn’t dilated the plan was Cervidil for 12 hours - this was at 4:44pm! They’re like later tonight you’ll get some sleep we’ll check you at 4am yaddie yaddie yadda... THAT WAS A JOKE! Around 6:30pm/7pm the contractions started 1-4 minutes apart WHEWWW CHILE THAT PAIN!! It was only 2 hours almost 3 hours later me dad were like “no way, it’s just cramps she said 12 hours” they had to take the Cervidil out! Couldn’t check my cervix I was in so much pain - my doctor told them to just go ahead and administer the epidural! THANK GOODNESSSS bc that pain.. LMAO 😂 it’s real! Anyways, get the epidural and sooo much relief thank the heavens 😭 I automatically start getting the “shakes” I’m thinking I’m dying I can barely move LOL my legs go numb I’m loving it though I’m like needing a nap.. at this point my contractions are only 2 MINUTES APART!! So I get checked again and I’m only 1 CM dilated & 50% effaced. I’m just like this gonna be a long journey.. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ so since the cervidil seemed to bring the contractions on my doctor called and said to put the bulb.. welllllllll the resident placed the bulb after having some trouble for a few minutes and guess whattt?! They look at each other and she goes “it just ruptured” to the RN..My water broke 😂 sooooo we went from probably not having a baby until tomorrow night Wednesday AM to probably having a baby by morning/ early afternoon. Pray for me mommas cause I need it LOL original due date 12/25/20 💕🤞🏽

UPDATE 2:51am 12/22/20- so come to find out my contractions are now only 10-13 minutes apart, my body wasn’t reacting to the cervidil too well and we thought we were on a fast track 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️ My body is beyond exhausted can’t sleep but I’m going to try. Pray for me to deliver soon please 😭😭😂
