Miscarriage

Already been to the emergency room and doctor, my sil is too early in pregnancy for them to hear the baby’s heartbeat. She has been bleeding heavy and the doctor told her if she continues to bleed heavy to go to the hospital. Is there a chance baby can make it or did she most likely already lose the baby? Wondering if anyone went through something like that and what was the outcome for you.
