Does your period come if it doesn’t work?

I am 4dp5dt FET and was wondering if my period is going to come if it hasn’t worked. I’m on oestrogen (6mg per day) and progesterone (800mg per day). I have short cycles so officially due on in a couple of days.

I didn’t get my period until after I stopped my estrogen and progesterone.  It was about 5 days after.

I was told that if you are on progesterone, you shouldn’t have a period. Even if it didn’t work, as long as the progesterone is in your body- it keeps your lining from shedding. Usually after a transfer has failed- RE will tell you to stop taking progesterone and a few days later you should get your period.

I'm not sure how it works with estrogen too, but you can definitely get your period whilst on progesterone, it just isn't very common. Most women don't seem to bleed til a few days after they stop taking progesterone, but I've managed to start my period whilst on it in 2 different cycles now, and I know a few other ladies here have too, but I don't think it's the norm.
