What do you do if you have a history of ectopic and get pregnant ?

Has anyone had an ectopic then got pregnant again later ? How do the doctor make sure it’s not another ectopic ? Is there a way for them to see before it’s too late and they have to remove a tube or ovary ?

I’m so scared of this happening. I only have one tube and ovary left , I can’t lose my last ones and it’s terrifying. My doctor said if I fall pregnant to notify them immediately and we’ll go from there. But I just want to hear others experiences.
