Breastfeeding is my absolute favourite part of early motherhood 🥺

I personally love breastfeeding. When she's staring into my eyes and smiles while she eats I get all the feels, but also fed is best. Breast feeding is hard and time consuming and not for everyone. I'm extremely lucky that I get to stay home with her 6 days a week and only need to pump 1 day. I know if I had to work full time there is no way I could do this. As long as your baby isn't starving then you are doing the right thing 😊

I didn’t want to but knew it was best for him if I was capable of doing it. So I EBF and I don’t love it. I don’t really get the whole bonding thing people talk about but since I don’t struggle with it I chose to keep doing it for at least a year.

I wanted to. But only for a short while. Doesn’t work long term with our lifestyle. So I EBF until 8wks and then stopped. I also just didn’t love it with either of my daughters 🤷🏻‍♀️

Having my first during a pandemic I was a bit overwhelmed... and I chose before my girl was born that I just wanted to formula feed. I just didn’t feel prepared. I’d consider it with my next though. I was a little sad when my milk came in and I had to put some cabbage on there to dry it up.

Breastfed for two years for my first child. Now with my second baby I stopped at 2 months. It’s too damn tiring and formula has given me a much needed break and some life back.

To all commenting they didn’t want to, you are my people!! I feel like the formula people get bullied so much if they just don’t have a desire to BF. I personally pumped until 10 weeks and feel like that ruined my boobs.

With my first I had absolutely no desire to. I just wasn’t comfortable myself with doing it. With my second, I wanted to try all new things and so far I’m so thankful for the breastfeeding journey I’ve been on. It ain’t easy though 😪
