Pre eclampsia
Hey ladies, I was just wondering if anyone suffered from preeclampsia before 20 weeks?
I am a 25 year old women who is on the obese side.
I am 19 weeks and for a little while I’ve been getting extremely dizzy and lightheaded, I thought nothing of this as I am iron deficient anaemic and figured this was the cause. But I then started having changes in vision, My vision is often blurred, most the time it just seems ever so slightly blurred however sometimes worst than others. Occasionally depending on how I move I sometimes get little dashes and specks of light and the last 4 days I have had a constant severe but dull headache that just doesn’t seem to go away, I have started having pains that feel like heartburn but not as intense and since all hours this morning I have had a constant pain near rib cage on the right side, it is constant but the severity of the pain depends on how I move. I have been constantly nauseous and on and off sick since early on but figure that’s just morning sickness..
This is baby number 3 and I never had this with my previous 2.
High blood pressure runs in my family but I have not ever previously experienced it.
I ended up in hospital at about 10-11weeks due to vomiting blood and had really high blood pressure, than at my nuchal translucency ultrasound I had at 13weeks my blood pressure was again high.. I have a 5 and 3 year old and am a single mother and have been under a lot of stress dealing with the kids and also their narcissistic father who I was abused by for 5 years out 6 that we were together and who I am currently battling at court for custody of the kids and so I haven’t had a chance to get back to the doctor since my scan at 13 weeks and am not yet booked into my local antenatal clinic and my doctor is away for another week on holidays.. I am getting into see him the moment he is back as I need to get booked into the antenatal clinic before 23weeks as I need to get the Anti-D shot.
I just figured it was too early to be preeclampsia, but my aunty who had eclampsia and almost died mentioned that I had some symptoms that she originally ignored and it was worth checking into..
