Could this be my period

So I was on birth control for about 2 years and I went off of it for two months, but I started taking it at the beginning of December. Now I’m on the sugar pills and supposed to have my period, as of right now there is very light bleeding and 1-2 some clots but that’s all. Is this okay? Mind you it has only been 2 days of my ‘period’ I have cramps and I did have sex last week but we used extra protection
