Medroxyprogesterone/ need to stop bleeding

Hi, so I had a very heavy period from June 1st-August and another from End of Sept-December (no breaks). I went to the doctor after so long and after my blood transfusion(where I had lost soo much blood), they prescribed me to medroxyprogesterone. I am still bleeding but I am wanting to know when it will stop or how i cant stop it, even if its just a small amount of time. I need a break, Im tired of Bleeding!!
