I turned 38 a couple of weeks ago and trying for my second. It took nearly 3 years to conceive my first and it scares me. I worry I am getting too old. Should I give up if it hasn't happened soon or keep going? Been trying for only 3 months but read some comments the other day from kids with older parents complaining and it made me sad.

Feeling a bit down as have had a few faint positives this week which have now gone to negative. What makes it worse is my brother announced they were expecting child number 2 and they haven't struggled at all. He tried to tell me what to do to get pregnant and it angered me. His partner is 37.
