Ruptured membrane at 32+4
Saturday morning 12/26 I felt a gush of fluid and rushed to the hospital as we discovered my membrane ruptured. I was given 2 rounds of steroids and magnesium which ultimately stopped my contractions. I’m one cm dilated and the doctors want to keep me pregnant as long as possible. Today I am 33 weeks and on modified bed rest at the hospital (only allowed up to use restroom) I’m so thankful for everyday that baby decides to continue baking but bedrest is whooping my butt (literally I ache) lol and morale. I still have so much I’d like to get done at home, and I missed my maternity pictures yesterday which completely bummed me out. Just curious if anyone else has gone into preterm labor and if you were sent home or stayed in the hospital until delivery. My high risk doctor is in Mexico so he hasn’t been much help, hopefully they send another doctor from his practice to check in on me as I was promised yesterday..
