Teething Symptoms or sick??

My 15 mo old has been warm off and on since Christmas eve and started to get a little snotty as of yesterday. He is for sure Teething as he is bitting and chewing everything, and hands in his mouth. He has been mostly normal with some extra screaming and neediness. I just cant figure out if he is sick and i should being him in or assume he is teething.

I have brought him in 2 or 3x now thinking he had an ear infection when it was teething so I am hesitent to go 😅 we havent been around anyone sick, and I am in a social distant/reduced stadd office 3x a week in my own office with minimal contact and no one has been sick here either.
