Old crib ?

So my husband and I found a crib on let go that we liked and we wanted to repaint it . However when we went to pick it up it wasn’t the crib in the picture and the people didn’t even explain that in their post that it wasn’t the exact crib but somewhat similar . They didn’t even say anything when we messaged them about it . The crib is 34 years old! We ended up taking it anyways , probably a mistake on our part . It didn’t even look similar to the picture they posted at all. I know this type of thing can happen when going through apps like that . We went and got paint for it and are excited about painting it . However I’m starting to wish we never bought it and looking up things about cribs is saying to not use one that’s older then 10 years so now I’m starting to get worried . I don’t think the people would take it back at this point and I’m not sure if we can resell it at all. I asked for a picture beforehand and they said it was taken apart so they didn’t send one . So yes we took the risk going and purchasing it . They had used it for their kids and their daughter had used it for her 4 and 2 year old . We were excited to do this project together but now I’m getting freaked out by what I’m seeing online about older cribs .
