Today I went in for a 3D/4D ultrasound to see my little man & the tech informed me of him having a cleft lip. She said she was able to see his gums on the side that was open so it doesn’t seem to have affected his palate & it also doesn’t go all the way up to his nostril. I know of three babies that had a cleft lip show up on an ultrasound but had fused together by the time they were born. Has this happened to anyone else before? And if your baby was born with a cleft lip/palate what was it like going through that? TIA!
