would this be safe?

I have a 2mo old (almost 3mo) and we’ve been having trouble getting her to sleep in her bassinet. I’ll rock her until she’s in a deep sleep and then put her in the bassinet but within a few minutes she wakes up crying. I tried to let her cry it out for a few minutes but if I’m being honest I can’t handle hearing her cries, it makes me sad so I pick her up and will continue to rock her over and over again. She’ll finally stay asleep around 2am. It’s been so exhausting and the only way we’ve noticed she stays asleep is if she’s next to us. I’m always awake when she sleeps next to us as I’m afraid to fall asleep. I was gifted a portable bassinet so I’m wondering, is it safe to put her in it and have her in bed with us?
