Okay so I’m having a conversation with a guy and he thinks it weird that my mom would get me a gift card for a place like that. I thought that was common?

It's common. Every woman has boobs and an undercarriage that require bras and panties. Most of their stuff is incredibly UNsexy and benign. Plus they sell tons of perfumes, accessories and bath products. It's not 1970, VS is hardly "racy" anymore. 🤣

Everyone wears underwear... well most people do. I'd say it would be weird if you didn't wear underwear. Moms are practical and probably thought a gift card there gave you more freedom to buy a need or wants like pjs or perfume.
