You “do not” technically have HPV at this point, your tests were negative (but it doesn’t test for every strain, there are hundreds) so HPV could still be a possibility. “Inflammation” also called “reactive cellular change” is just how cervical cells appear when infection, like yeast or other inflammation is found on the cervix, could also be from cellular repair. It is non-cancerous changes, so no worries about that.

It may also be that you had HPV that caused cellular changes but your body fought off the HPV. Ask your doctor!!

Reactive cellular change isn't only caused by hpv! There can be other reasons. You should definitely call your doctor back and ask about the change and what that means and if there's any follow up work they can do to make sure everything is alright
