My baby is 7 weeks old and up til this week, we’ve had no issues nursing.

On Sunday he started having issues nursing, and I think it’s because I have a heavy let down suddenly. He starts sputtering and choking after just a minute. But he’s also having pooping issues, and so while he’s nursing he’s trying to poop and will start freaking out while latched on.

On top of that, he does fine nursing on the right side but not the left. He has these freak outs while nursing on the left. I’ve tried nursing him in a football hold and it helps a little bit, but the heavy let down will still cause him to choke up.

While he’s nursing and the let down starts, I can hear his stomach gurgling while he’s trying to control it while gulping.

I don’t think the heavy let down can be the cause of the conspitation? But I haven’t changed anything in my diet in the past week so I don’t know what could be bugging him currently.

So what do I do about heavy let down, but also the freaking out nursing on the left side, and the sudden constipation?
