Men and anxiety/feelings
So I’m at a loss here and I’d like some advice/imput. I’ve known my husband for over 13 years and we’ve been seeing eachother since then (late 2006). He’s always been the most sensitive out of us two and unlike me, he tends to show his emotions a lot more, especially when he’s anxious/scared/sad.
Especially in the last few months, it has gone to a point where he gets sad a lot more often and is a lot more anxious/jittery/disconnected from reality at times, like something is bothering him 24/7.
Whenever I try to talk to him about his feelings however he shuts down and tries to pretend that everything is fine but I know damn well something’s up. I’ve walked in on him crying 3-4 times in the last month and it kills me not to be able to comfort him because he doesn’t want to talk a out it.
I’m beginning to think that this is beyond something I can fix and he might need professional help but I’m at a loss on what to do first.
