Hey yall,

Me and my boyfriend started dating in April of 2019 when we were both in highschool and a few months into us dating he enlisted to the Army but he didnt actually leave until this year July 27th 2020. He has already completed basic and AIT and is waiting to be shipped off overseas.

But since a few weeks into his AIT to now we barely talk just a few texts here and there, and maybe a call for 20-50mins every two-three weeks. He is always saying he is pretty busy which I understand and we do have a three hour time difference between us but soon it will be a 18-hour time difference. He was never a big texter before he left for the ARMY but now I think it is even more important for our relationship.

Does anyone have any advice? Or is anyone else in a relationship with their partner stationed elsewhere?
