Should I keep hounding him?

My husband and I are separated. We live in two separate states. Currently, I have our son full time. My ex is supposed to be paying half of our sons daycare but I noticed that he’s starting to “forget” to pay his portion. I’m constantly having to ask him to send the money. He’s finally caught up on that but he also owes me $109 for his electric bill that I use to pay when we lived together. We already spoke twice about him paying me that on payday. Here we are two days later and no word about sending me the money. It pains me to have to keep asking him to send me money. I’m currently in a more stable financial situation than him because I’m staying with my parents. I’m eventually moving out in Feb and as a single mom I’m going to need a stable system to stay on top of my bills. He’s apart of that because he supposed to be paying half our sons daycare. I’m afraid if I make him send me the $109 he’ll fall behind on sending daycare money or even fall behind on his own bills. The $109 is not going to hurt me if I don’t get it but it’ll definitely help towards household goods for my apartment. I also don’t want him to think he could keep giving me money troubles.

This is tough because we actually have a good relationship. He just makes poor decisions when stressed out ( he’s in the military so he’s always stressed out) which is why we’re not together. He helped me get my apartment by allowing me to use his credit, and he answers whenever I call.

Should I let the $109 slide or should I keep asking him?
