Cd 27 bfn am I out?

With all my symptoms of ovulation it seems I ovulated between cycle day 11-13. So, I expect I will most likely get my period today or tomorrow. Has anyone had it take a long time to get a bfp? With my first I got a very faint line 1-3 days before I expected my period. Any hope for me? This is our 8th month not on any birth control, but our first month actually trying. I have an irregular period/hormone imbalance. So, it can make it next to impossible to know when I really ovulated.
