Mental Health

Hey! Just wondering if anybody has any good advice on how to improve mental health especially during this time?

2020 has been a really shit year for me as I know it's been for others and I've been inside for months even without a full lockdown in place, hardly any friends are available and when things were more relaxed lockdown wise and at tier 3 I still barely went out despite knowing it's bad for my mental health. And overall I've been pretty miserable and I feel trapped in my mind, I even was talking to myself this year just feel like it's the worst cabin fever I've had and it's kinda fried my mind. I know staying inside even when things are more relaxed sounds dumb, it's just the more I stay inside the worse my social anxiety gets and then I just continue to be a hermit...

For me I know that self care helps like bubble baths and masks, and so does being productive to distract myself like university work and getting engrossed in that, reading, doing the thing I am anxious about like doctors appointments etc but which are needed. I also think that long walks and exercise can help... If you can think of anything to add to that list that has helped during lockdown and has improved your mental health a lot despite corona then please comment and hopefully this post will also help others who are feeling the same way as me.
