Did you try castor oil?

I’m￼ curious to see whose tried it! Don’t worry I’m not going to but I’ve seen many people have and people always saying not to! Why is it dangerous? I’ve seen people talk about how great the midwives brew is and how it works but it also has castor oil in it

It can make your baby poop in your womb and ingest it and they can die.
It’s absolutely not safe and not worth it!
At best it will give you horrible diarrhea and won’t work. At worst you can kill your baby.

I have seen so many people on here say “ I did it and my baby was fine “ and I would still never do it because the risk is TOO much !!

If I truly need induced, it will be done medically. I would never take the risk no matter how many times I see people swearing it worked for them safely. I’ve seen women post on here that they’ve almost lost their baby or they have lost their baby or know someone who experienced that as well. I just see no reason that I’d ever be willing to try it...

It’s SO SO dangerous!! It’s like a laxative so it can make you poop and your baby aspirate it and die. My MIL was a L&D nurse for years and one of the first things she told me when I was pregnant was to absolutely not use castor oil to induce.

I did the midwifes brew it didn’t work for me my baby wasn’t ready to come .. me and baby are completely fine castor oil is a laxative only it will do is make you shit .. and people always say it can make your baby poop in the wound but a lot of other things can cause that also !! Castor isn’t as bad as people make out to be plus they’re aren’t nurses or doctors either so

I tried it and it literally just gave me really bad diarhea. I ended up going into labour a day or two later. It really wasn't worth it. Thank God my baby didn't suffer in the process.
