Not sure how to feel

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years. He’s 26 and I’m 27. Our relationship is amazing, most times. My family loves him and that means so much to me. My family are always asking when are we going to have kids. My boyfriend was talking about possibly starting a family this year. Which I love. Today I posted a picture on Facebook of my boyfriend holding my nephew that is 6 months. My boyfriend’s mom commented “ don’t have any ideas son” on the picture. I’m not sure how I feel about that. She also lives in a different state than us. She lives like 12 hours away (driving). Am I thinking too much about it. Should I talk to me boyfriend about it and if I do, I’m not sure what to say.
