Tithing at church

My husband doesn’t really go to church, today he says he wants to stop tithing and he does not like that I give so much to the church which is about 600 a month... how do I honor my husband and God

Open to other opinions preferable Christian views.

We do live pay check to pay check, but live comfortably and have a moderate lifestyle in CA, USA

I make about 5500 a month before taxes, myself, I have been so blessed, I’ve always felt lead to give more and help others.. coming from a single parent home and poor. Our church does a lot of outreaches for our community.

But yes as hubby and I get down to our financials it’s time to reevaluate my giving so we can prepare for our future.. Everyone’s outlook was so helpful.
