Do you have sex on fertile days?

Hey! So I’m just curious..I’m avoiding pregnancy at all costs rn and my boyfriend thinks I’m being too paranoid. He’s very understanding but at the same time I’m fearful of pushing him away. We use condoms + pullout. I got off birth control about a month ago because it was messing with me too much. And ever since I stopped and we just switched to condoms I’ve been super paranoid. I’m avoiding sex during ovulation and making sure he uses condoms AND pulls out every single time. I’d rather be overly cautious but idk if I’m being too paranoid..I’m ovulating for another week-ish and I miss having sex 😅 I think he thought I was crazy when I told him yesterday I didn’t wanna do it because I was ovulating even though itsstill protected and he pulls out. For those of you avoiding preganancy and using protection, do you still also abstain from sex during ovulation even with protection? Just curious

Buy some opks and do bbt so you know when you are actually ovulating so you know when to not rather than using an app as it cannot tell you accurately when or if you are

It's fine to feel that way I've been in your shoes, I even do pregnancy tests even though part of me knows I couldn't be pregnant just to be sure. Later on in your relationship you'll probably get used to sex and not getting knocked up because youre very careful and the anxiety will ease a little. You could compensate your partner by no-penetration though! Bjs always saves the day 😂

This app only tells you so much, get an ovulation kit to make sure. I have sex with a condom during ovulation and nothing has happened. But it’s not wrong to worry

I don’t have sex on fertile days either because I would rather not. Every other time is with a condom and he finishes inside with it on. I can see why you’re paranoid. I was too when I first got off birth control. Don’t worry about running him off, you have to protect yourself first.
