Is it normal for my baby to poop only once a day?
I'm talking about pushing-a-nappy-to-the-limits kinda poop...

Baby is 5 weeks old, and recently he is only pooping once a day. Usually before midday, typically after I've just changed his wet nappy and during feeding him. I can tell when it's happening because of the faces he makes and the sounds that echo out of his butt... 😱
The last few poops have been 'omg that's the worst one yet', but each day is becoming the NEW worst one... lol
Yesterday I changed him once he finished making the poop faces and when I opened the nappy it was right up the front of him, I couldn't see his little boy bits at all as they were COVERED.
Today he filled a nappy with the most poop I've ever seen, and then whilst chaning him he pooped almost twice as much on the changing mat... followed by farting whilst covered in poop which left me scarred for life.
To begin with he had multiple smaller poops per day, which was easier to manage.
Now he has one GIANT one per day, which I have to keep an eye out for and change him immediately or face potential disaster.
Fyi he is formula fed, breast fed to begin with but I couldn't keep up and got mastitis so he has been formula fed solely now for 2 or 3 weeks. It has only really been the last week though that this is happening.
