So I have been away from family for 6 months and I'm going home for Christmas and New Years then have to come back n do another 6 months. My husband and kids r staying with my mother and father in law. For school breaks my SIL always comes and stays with my MIL with her 3 kids but my SIL never watches her kids. She just dumps them in a room and shuts the door. And usually when we go visit I end up taking care of 5 kids (my 2 and her 3). Right now she is there and my husband is already fuming bc her kids r horrible they kick my kids n bully them. I told him maybe when I come home we need to go stay at a hotel. He agrees but fears his parents feelings will b hurt. But I just want quality time with my kids. Not spending my whole leave tired and stressed over her kids. And SIL husband works off shore so he is off shore for 30 days then home and he will b home so I already know she gonna claim she need alone time with her husband n that means I'll b babysitting when I'm the one that has been gone for 6 months not one but no one ever gives us alone time n that I don't care about. I just want to enjoy my leave n my kids without bull shit. Would I b wrong to just take my kids while SIL is visiting and stay at a hotel?
