Has anyone had an NIPT done later in the pregnancy and at 40+ yo? We passed on any genetic testing when they asked us at 10 weeks because we knew we would keep the baby no matter what. We had two previous MCs and we are finally pregnant with our first child, our rainbow, and made it to 17w3d today, with baby looking very healthy thus far. I am concerned for our upcoming anatomy ultrasound and if it would be able to detect any concerns alone or if we should supplement with this testing. Not that we would do anything differently or love our baby any less but as a new mom, I'm already feeling the need to want to protect and provide for my little one in any way it may need. I also dont want to get myself upset with any false positives. Any thoughts or experiences on later NIPT testing?
