How do they schedule a repeat c-section?

I had a failed induction 4+ years ago and ended up having a c-section. If I choose to have a repeat c-section this time around, when do they usually schedule it for? due date? A week prior?

Mine originally wouldn’t schedule mine before 39 weeks and I was high risk. But I started having some issues so They rescheduled it for 37 weeks to keep me and baby safe.

My OB said they would schedule my second c after 32 weeks for when I hit 39 weeks.

I will be scheduling on Tuesday and my office goes around 39 weeks. I’ll be 30 weeks on Tuesday when I schedule.

Mine was for any day that I'm 39 weeks. So it could be for when I'm 39 weeks exactly to 39+6. I scheduled it for 39+2 for various reasons, but baby decided to come at 34 weeks. 😱

Usually 38 weeks because baby is full term and there’s less risk that you’ll go into labour by that point.
