Blighted ovum - measurement? D&c? Meds?

I am 8w2d and found out I will be miscarrying due to blighted ovum. We have the decision to have a d&c, take meds to help with miscarriage or naturally miscarry. I’m wondering what choices others made and the measurement of the sac. This is my 4th miscarriage. First one I had a d&c, the other 2 I passed naturally. I’m concerned that this on won’t be as easy to pass naturally as the other 2. Can anyone share their experience?

I just had tablet and stayed in hospital 
My gestational sac was 40mm 
It was the worst time of my life 
(They sent tissue away for testing) 
If I fall pregnant again and miscarry I will be doing it naturally x

I was measuring 8 weeks and a couple days and I decided to do the D&C a couple weeks ago. I think it was a good choice for me since I didn’t want to go through the physical pain. Also emotionally it would be hard for me to wait until my body naturally passed, since I didn’t know how long that would be. I’m so sorry for you loss 💜

My gestational sac stopped growing at 5 weeks 6 days and I passed it at 9 weeks (at the end of November). I did it naturally and it went smoothly as far as I can tell. Cramped pretty hard for a day when passing the tissue(Tylenol made it manageable)and bled for about 8 days after with some clotting (like I would pass with a normal period). I'm still waiting for my period to return so we can start trying again.
