What do the twin abbreviations mean?

Didi? Mono? Mono di? I was looking at all the beautiful belly bumps on a new post and I have no clue what the abbreviated words mean! Help anyone?

The abbreviations are for how many Chorions-placentas (determines if there is one-mono, or two-di placentas); and if they have one or two amniotic sacs (mono/di). For example, I have mono/di twins; they share a placenta and each have their own sac, or I call it living in a duplex and sharing utilities.

I have diachronic/diamniotic twins or di di. It means they have seperate sacs and amniotic fluid, seperate placentas and are happily growing at 28 weeks 😊
