Anyone else been to doctors about not getting pregnant ?

Iv been trying for a baby for a year this month and can't cope anymore negatives. Iv made a doctors appointment for next week wondered if anyone else has been to doctors and what I can except ? Xx

I went to my doctors yesterday, I have been trying for two years and basically I've come out feeling really good and optimistic, luckily I was on day 21 of my cycle so I had some bloods taken to see if I ovulated, I have polycystic ovaries but not the other symptoms of the polycystic ovary syndrome so luckily for me I still have periods everymonth, he said that once these bloods come back and my boyfriends sperm analysis comes back we will be sent to a fertility specialist, he also said I wouldn't have to wait the long lists for ivf either if I need that to have a baby, luckily for me my doctor is fantastic so I can really see 2016 being my year to concieve with help! In Feb I missed my period completely and when I went in for my yearly and got a negative pregnancy test I asked the dr. She told me my next cycle take an ovulation test 8 days after the start of my period and do that for five days. If I have a positive for ovulation than she can't really help me because she isn't a specialist or anything. Well February and March no period which bummed me so bad and then April I got it, didn't test but did have sex day 8 and day 10. I figured I wasn't preventing it if it happens it'll happen. May came and I spotted for a few days when I should have started my period (my periods were regular for about 6 months, then we're irregular starting that feb.) So I took that as a period and I ain't pregnant. Well may 27 I woke up with a HUGE headache (in my eyes and I called into work and was required to visit a dr) I also had nausea. They insisted on doing a pregnancy test but I insisted it would be negative because I already had a period that month. Dr came in and told me it was positive. I was SHOCKED. but happy, after ttc 1y6m. 33w1d today. Sorry post is long.

My doctor tols me after TTC for 2 years that I have PCOS and at my last appointment she gave me a prescription for Clomid which is a medicine that makes you ovulate and told me that if i still wasn't pregnant after 3 cycles and I was ovulating then to come back and we would do a sperm analysis on my husband.

They will want to test your husband and test to see if you ovulated through blood work
