Future-In-Law

So I am getting married to the man of my dreams this year (July 07, 2021) and I sadly never got to meet his dad.

He passed away around Valentine’s Day, just before we met. So Valentine’s Day is especially hard on my fiancé, and our first Valentine’s Day was actually spent with him taking me to meet his father at the cemetery.

I was wanting to do something special for him this year for Valentine’s and to honor his dad because his dad not being their for our wedding is really affecting him and Ik how big of a part of his life he was.

But I’m sort of stuck because I’m not sure exactly what I should do. It is still a very touchy subject for him, even after close to 4 years. Ik anything I do he will appreciate, but I want to do it right.

Does anybody have any suggestions on the topic?

Most people do romantic stuff for Valentine’s, but Ik how hard it is on him. And I just want him to know how much I love and appreciate his dad for raising such an amazing man, even though I never met him. His family always says so much of how he is just like his dad. I really wish I had the opportunity to meet him. I know he was truly an amazing man 💙
