Did anyone else have a face to face first midwife appointment at 10 weeks 3 days Or earlier? I had one yesterday and felt it was really pointless... literally just done paperwork about myself / partner / family and my children. Pretty much yes and no answers. For a so called pandemic that we are in I felt this could of all been done over the phone. Especially as she couldn’t even be bothered to weigh me although she did do my blood pressure. And I still don’t have a 12 week scan booked she said il either get a call or a letter to book it in from 11-13 weeks. I am currently 10w4d
And we are in tier 4

I did the info bit over the phone at 8 weeks and just went in to have blood taken and check bp, etc

I've got my first midwife appointment over the phone at 10 weeks, I didn't think they were doing any in person! 
Your midwife should refer you for a scan at the hospital, you usually get a letter through the post about a week after your booking appointment.

We’re all in a lockdown at present and I had the face to face appointment during the first lockdown last year.

Yes. I had a face to face appointment with the midwife at 11 weeks last year.

I had to fill in all of the paperwork over the phone, and then I had to go in like an hour later and she look bloods and a urine sample and my blood pressure, I didn’t get weighed either until my 12 week scan so they could sort out my growth chart x

Yeh they should have done that on the phone. Where do you live?

The first appointment “booking appointment” is just all questions and paperwork unfortunately.
Perhaps your area is not considered high risk. My booking appointment is this week and its over the phone
