How many diapers & wipes for registry?

Question

First time rainbow mom here! What sizes and how many should I put? Is this too many or not enough? 
I put one box of Newborn diapers (84 per box) + two boxes of Size 1 diapers (96 per box) + two boxes of Size 2 diapers (84 per box) 
All the diapers are Pampers swaddlers because they seem to have the best reviews.
I also put three boxes of Huggies special delivery hypoallergenic unscented wipes (6 packs of wipes per box/336 wipes total) + one box of Huggies Natural Care Sensitive unscented wipes (10 packs of wipes/560 wipes total)

I was given the advice to not have only diapers of the same brand. The newborn size will be where you go through them very quickly (unless you have a big baby).
I put smaller packs of newborn diapers from 3 diff brands that i would likely continue to use on my list, a bulk pack of generic hypoallergenic wipes and a small pack of the brand i liked most from reviews on the next size up

I couldn’t do the smell of pamper’s unfortunately. So toxic and fake smelling imo. As others have said, maybe don’t ask for specific brands as you won’t know what’ll fit your baby’s body best x

My daughter was small (6lbs) and was in newborn for almost 3 months. in the beginning you’ll probably go through at least 10 diapers a day. On average I think we went through about 12-14. We got pretty lucky and pretty much all diapers work for her. I prefer pampers but the generic brands have worked great for us too. I would buy a couple small packs (like 20-30 diapers) each time you go to the store. If you’re having a shower you can always have a diaper raffle too if you’re trying to stock up. We did that and in the 10 months since my daughter was born we’ve maybe bought 3 cases of diapers.

Definitely don’t pick one brand. You will learn which ones work best for you and baby. Put small packs of different brand and sizes. I hated pampers but I know some ppl love them. I only use huggies natural care wipes bc those are by far my favorite.

All I can say is I wouldn’t load up too kicks you don’t know how big or little your baby will be or fast they will grow once out. I was given this advice when I had my baby last year. What I did was have a diaper fund set up through Amazon registry. That way I could order them as needed. My baby was in newborn diapers for 2 months, but other women I know said their baby was in newborn diapers for like 2 weeks! So it really varies.

My newborn just went through two cases and 3 packages of newborn before she went up to size one.
That baby pooped ALOT.
Hahaah better have a little extra than not enough!
